Oita Prefectural Art Museum was opened in April 2015 being based on three fundamental concepts; ‘Museum of Encounters and of the Five Senses,’ ‘Museum where visitors can think as their living room’ and ‘Museum that grows with citizen of the prefecture.’ These key concepts have been the core of the operation. The building design of the new museum was designed by architect Shigeru Ban under the concept of "a museum as a veranda open to the city." We were in charge of public relations work (2014 in Tokyo) at the time of opening.
