This exhibition was held as a preparatory "pre-event" to the Yokohama Urban Design Forum, positioned as an opportunity for the city of Yokohama to reflect upon urban design. Eight architects and artists presented their proposals for a future harbor and city by focusing on Urban Ring, the urban space surrounding Yokohama Harbor. The proposals sought to define new urban functions and networks with a view to the year 2050, and were presented in the form of models, video, drawings, and other media.
