Exhibition Planning, Curation & Coordination

In an age of numerous visual images and with art reflecting this environment, many artworks have come to depend heavily on such images. As television is notably one of the most familiar means of conveying visual images, Spiral TV was created to explore the relationship between art and television. Fabrice Hybert likened the atrium of Spiral to a TV station's studio, and Spiral TV went on to feature various events, performances, and talk shows during a constantly changing project that involved a wide range of artists. 【Artists】 Fabrice Hybert, Eija-Liisa Ahtila, Carter Kustera, Tam Ochiai, Yayo Kusama / Peter Gabriel, Daisuke Nakayama, Patricia Piccinini / Peter Hennessey, Momoyo Torimitsu, Pipilotti Rist, Fumiya Fujii, Annika Lundgren, Jia Zhu, Paul Graham, Johan Grimonprez, Daniel Pflumm, Steven Pippin, Marijke van Warmerdam, Barbara Visser, Junjieh Wang, Vanessa Beecroft, Nobuyoshi Araki 【Basic information】 Period: 1999.3.10 - 1999.3.28 Venue: Spiral Organized by: The 3rd ART LIFE 21 The Executive Committee Sponsored by: AT&T, Maybellin CO., Ltd.
