N&A oversaw the installation of a super-scale outdoor sculpture by world-renowned Japanese artist Kohei Nawa in front of Shinsegae Department Store in Cheonan, South Korea. The statue stands 13 meters high and 16 meters wide.
Manifold, a geometric term used in mathematics and mechanics that signifies multiple forms, perfectly depicts this artwork—a single mass of more than 200 polyhedra that collide, collapse, and swell atop five pillars.
Production of this large-scale project took over two years and involved more than one hundred engineers in Japan, China, and South Korea.
