Exhibition Planning, Curation & Coordination
This exhibition expanded throughout the Spiral Building, with work by 33 artists or artist groups from both Japan and elsewhere displayed from the basement to the sixth floor and even inside the elevators and in the back yard, transforming the building itself into a giant medium. The exhibition sought to bring art into everyday life and create opportunities for encounters with art even for those who visited the building without intending to attend an exhibition. It also aimed to have art provide attendees with opportunities to reflect upon the many problems of modern society and to prompt reconsideration of the state of the world and the true essence of humanity.
